Corporate Social Responsibility

As an embodiment of awareness mandated by the Law No. 40 Year 2007 on Limited Liability Company, the Company took its part in the activities of Corporate Social Responsibilities, also known as CSR, and the implementation of which is aligned with the vision and mission as well as the Company’s business portfolio as a responsibility towards customers, employees, shareholders, communities, and the environment in all aspects of the Company’s operations on an ongoing basis.

Corporate Social Responsibility for year 2015 consisting of:

  1. Responsibility for Environmental Management

The Company is committed to maintaining a green, healthy and orderly environment of the Company and its surroundings. Likewise, the Company also has a great concern regarding the use of materials and energy that are environmentally friendly and recyclable, and adopting a safe and coordinated waste disposal system in accordance with applicable regulations.

  1. Responsibility for Employment

The Law No. 13 of 2013 on Manpower is the basic reference for the Company in building industrial relationship. The Company always seeks to comply with the rulesand provisionsstipulated in that Law.

The Company provides skill training for employees both internally and externally as needed in their respective fields.

To guarantee the fulfillment of employee basic needs, the Company enrolls all workers and their family members in the program of BPJS Employment and BPJS Health.

  1. Responsibility for the Health and Safety at Work

The Company received OHSAS 18001:2007 upon implementing health and safety management system (K3).

The Company’s policy on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (K3L) is to create working conditions that are safe and healthy to prevent occupational injuries (zero accident), occupational diseases, and environmental pollution.

  1. Social Community Responsibility

Company’s CSR programs has implemented for the residents of Kampung Pulo Kambing in Jatinegara, Sub-district of Cakung, East Jakarta, among others is manifested in the form of hiring local people, routinely and regularly donating social assistance to the local community, distributing sacrificial animals to workers and surrounding communities, constructing places of worship at the Company’s site, sports facilities and the use of a portion of the Company’s land for trees planting.

In addition to regular social assistance, on February 27, 2015, the Company in cooperation with the Indonesian Red Cross organized blood donation activities followed by the Company’s employees and public.

  1. Responsibility for Human Resources Development

The Company is committed to developing human resources with integrity and competence to be able to work efficiently and productively through the implementation of training and education programs for the employees.

The Company also provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience by working at PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk.

  1. Product Responsibility

To produce quality products, the Company implemented the international standard Quality Management System of ISO 9001:2008, which was applied consistently in accordance to Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
